Dark Energy is a hypothetical form of energy, and it has been calculated to account for 72% of the universe.
A new experiment was created to combine both atomic physics and cosmology, which has allowed us to discover many models that have enabled us to understand better the nature of dark energy.
It’s driven by four fundamental forces: strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, electromagnetic force, and gravitational force.
Physicists have proposed that dark energy might be the fifth force, but since they still don’t actually know what it is and how it behaves, a lot of research on it still needs to be done.
