Would you like your kids to become a Pirate Captain for the day? Or show-off what a good Gamer they are? Or how about helping the Unicorns find a new home, embark on a Vloggers’ Quest, end up shipwrecked on a deserted island or immerse themselves in space?
Challenges! Themed Quests! Sphero! The MicroEye Demo! … and above all Zed, Esplora’s charismatic robot! Plenty of fun activities in store for all the family this weekend at Esplora as we relaunch a very popular event – Family Digital Science Quest.
In order for children to participate bring along a digital device. It could be a tablet or a mobile phone. Then, help them choose their favourite quest from the following themes: Pirate Captain Academy, A Gamer’s Got to Game, Unicorns: In Search of a New Home, A Vlogger’s Quest, Shipwreck Quest and Planetarium Quest.
Once chosen, scan a code and a set of questions will pop on the device. Together, you can now start your quest and complete challenges to advance to another section and finish the quest. Have fun!
Zed is Back!
On Saturday, at 12.30pm, there will be a special visit from Zed, where our favourite robot will have a meet & greet with all the kids and adults present. Don’t forget to take a selfie with him and tag us on Facebook @esploramalta
Amazing Workshops
All through this weekend you can also participate in a Sphero workshop where you will be able to code Sphero through your tablet or mobilephone and help it travel from one place to another.
On Sunday you will also have the opportunity to check out the MicroEye Demo. The MicroEye is a high magnification camera that enables you to look at various small things. Can you guess what we’ve prepared for you this time?
