How to Qualify
The Educators Exclusive Membership Card is available to professionals who can present any of the following:
A valid Teacher’s Card issued by the Council for the Teaching Profession, Malta or an ELT Teacher’s Card issued by the ELT Council.
A signed and stamped letter issued by your Head of School on official letterhead, confirming your employment.
A valid MCAST Lecturing Staff Card.
A valid Membership Card or proof of payment from the Malta Union of Teachers.
A valid UoM AWRF Visa Card.
Any other official document as proof of your profession.
How to Apply
Getting your Educators Exclusive Membership Card is easy! Follow these simple steps:
Visit Esplora and speak with one of our receptionists.
Present the appropriate documentation proving your status as an educator.
Receive your card Our team will issue your membership card by registered mail. Until you receive the physical card, you can still make use of your membership by providing your card number at the Esplora Reception.
Terms & Conditions for Exclusive Educator Membership Card.
Educators are defined as LSEs, any teaching grade, lecturers and related professionals who can provide an official Educator’s card such as:
o Valid Teacher’s Card issued by Council for the Teaching Profession, Malta; o A signed and stamped letter, on the school letterhead from the Head of School confirming the Educator’s place of work (for Newly Qualified Teachers, Supply Teachers & LSEs); o Valid MCAST Lecturing Staff Card; o Valid Membership Card / proof of payment of membership issued by the Malta Union of Teachers; o Valid UoM AWRF Visa Card
or Any other official document as proof of their profession.
The Educator visiting Esplora is required to present the physical Exclusive Educator Membership Card, before entering Esplora
Free entrance to Esplora exhibitions will be granted to the Educator + one (1) adult and up to two (2) children.
Any additional accompanying visitors are charged at the standard rate.
This offer is non-transferable.
There is no limit on the number of times Educators can avail themselves of this offer.
Entrance to any additional Esplora output/experience such as planetarium or workshop or science show is charged at the standard rate.
Educator’s Exclusive Membership Card can also be used during thematic events.
