Esplora is inviting you to be part of the next edition of KurżitàJiem! Interested in inspiring the next generation to pursue a career in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by communicating your expertise through hands-on activities? Esplora is offering you the space to make this happen!
Private entities, non-profit organisations, research institutes and/or governmental bodies are all eligible to participate in such an event.
During KurżitàJiem, students attending Late Primary (Years 4, 5 and 6) and Middle School (Year 7 & 8) and our beloved visitors will have the opportunity to meet you, the STEM professionals and/or researchers working within STEM fields and engage in hands-on, interactive activities that will help them identify the skills and competencies needed for particular STEM-related jobs. Activities could take various forms such as interactive games, simulations and other technology-enhanced resources.
KurżitàJiem will be running from 9am to 3pm on weekdays and 10am to 5pm on weekends. On 9th and 10th May, we would be expecting a large visitor flow considering that the target audience will be school groups as opposed to the weekend where the target audience would be mainly composed from families with children aged 2 to 12.
All interested private entities, NGOs, government bodies and other professionals and/or researchers wishing to participate in KurżitàJiem are kindly requested to submit an expression of interest, explaining their proposed hands-on, interactive activities, to esplora.programmes@gov.mt. Please use this email for any queries that you might have prior to submitting your interest.
