Karta Festa 2026 at Esplora

This Carnival season, Esplora invites families to experience Karta Festa – a vibrant celebration inspired by the spirit of the Maltese Carnival, where tradition, creativity and STEAM come together.

Rooted in the age-old Carnival practices of crafting, costume-making and playful invention, Karta Festa transforms everyday materials into imaginative creations through hands-on activities and interactive experiences.

From building and repairing, to experimenting and designing, visitors are encouraged to explore how creativity and science have always been at the heart of Carnival.

With a strong focus on sustainability, conservation and responsible resource use, Karta Festa connects cultural heritage with contemporary challenges. Through workshops, science shows and family-friendly activities, Esplora becomes a lively indoor Carnival space where curiosity thrives and learning is joyful.
