Mindfulness Session for Kids

Mindfulness is about training the mind to be in the present moment, that is, bringing awareness to what is happening in the here and now. It is about observing curiously and non-judgmentally what is happening inside of us and around us through love, kindness and compassion.

Why is Mindfulness important for children?

Through practicing various Mindfulness techniques, research suggests that mindfulness helps reduce stress, improves memory, enhances focus and concentration, increases creativity and brings about positive changes in levels of happiness and general well-being.

Mindfulness with Elaine in collaboration with Esplora Interactive Science Centre will be offering an amazing experience aimed for children between the ages of 6 to 10 years old with an interactive 2-hour mindful session. During this experience, children will be able to learn different mindfulness and well-being techniques whilst at the same time making use of the resources that the venue has to offer. This session will take place at Esplora on Saturday 20th May 2023 at 10am.
