Halloween Themed Opening Hours at Esplora

This Halloween join us on a not-so-scary but totally spooktacular adventure into the intriguing world of science. A whole week full of creepy science activities, disgusting demonstrations and amazing experiments that will have the whole family buzzing with excitement!

Start your adventure with exploring the science centre which will be transformed into a spooky realm full of tombstones, cobwebs and pumpkins. Then explore some of the fun activities that will take place in various areas of the science centre. Investigate the human body and what its made of in our dissection room and join us for a Potions Class where we will be showcasing the wonders of chemistry with various fascinating experiments.

Stay tuned for various competitions on site as well as on our social media platforms and get the opportunity to win great prizes!

You can participate in these Halloween-themed activities from Saturday 30th October until Wednesday 3rd November where Esplora will have special extended opening hours from 10am till 6pm.

The activities that you may find during this week include:

Inferno – A Science Show about fire with lots of experiments and demonstrations. By using different chemicals and materials you can create different kinds of flames – coloured, dancing, sparks and of course explosions.

Potions Galore – A mini Science Show about the wonders of Chemistry. Experience the excitement of different chemical reactions, banging explosions and discover magnificent colours as the potion seller tries to sell you the ideal potion for you.

Dissection Room – A mini Science show full of demonstrations that allows you to see what’s inside your body. Do you have the guts to withstand the inside of a heart? Or to look closely at an eyeball? All this can be found in Esplora’s Dissection Room.

Wonders of the Night Sky: Halloween Edition – Observe the dark sky above you on Halloween night and discover our ancestor’s stories about dark mythical creatures. You will also get to explore the darkest spaces in our solar system.
