This Halloween join us on a spooky journey into the curious world of science! We will be exploring the weird making of the human body in our dissection room, the wonders of chemistry through a Potions Class, the power-harnessing of electricity and the fabulous fierceness of fire. These activities have been developed specifically for Halloween at Esplora and we can assure you that each and one of them will offer a scientific spooky experience! These include:
Science On Fire: A thrilling science show all about fire and combustion. Suitable for all ages although explosions and loud bangs are expected.
Potions Class: A show revolving around the wonders of chemistry full of exciting experiments. Suitable for all ages although bright light is expected.
Electr-O-City: A show that showcases the powers of electricity. Suitable for all ages although loud noises and flashing lights are expected.
Dissection Room: An exploratory show which explores bodily organs inside and out, literally. Suitable for all ages, not suitable for people who may get sensitive at particular sights.
Cosmix: A planetarium film that takes us on the journey of becoming an astronaut. (Age +6)
There will also be a variety of science demonstrations and experiments around Esplora and low contact trick or treating!
We will be open on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October from 18:00 to 22:30 and visitors will have access to the science centre and two Halloween activities of their choice.
