Immerse yourself in a world of colour, imagination and art and treat your family this carnival to a colour-themed science event at Esplora Interactive Science Centre. Join us for a fun-filled weekend where we will explore the science and art of carnival.

Activities include:

Clay workshops
Join our collaborators from Alka Ceramics for a clay modelling workshop, so roll up your sleeves and create your very own clay mask or carnival-inspired model.

Mask painting
Creating and designing masks is a tradition that dates back hundreds of years. So, what are you waiting for? Let your imagination run wild and design your very own colourful mask.

Robot powered floats
Trust your engineering skills and build a mini version of a carnival float using K’Nex. Then join the parade by making your float move around using Sphero robots.

Scribble Bots
Do you like robots? Do you like art? Come and tinker with our scribble bots to make your own colourful drawings.

Beautiful Bubbles
Who doesn’t like bubbles! Enjoy Esplora’s very own bubble show and explore all the scientific wonders about bubbles.

Qobo Masters
Explore coding with the help of Qobo, our friendly robot snail. Help Qobo on his mission to find the lost gem.

Bee-a-coder
Hop on an exciting adventure around Malta with our very own Bee-Bot. have fun whilst coding your way around different sites around Malta.
