Science Shows
ElectroBuzz: Electricity is all around us and it goes on an incredible journey to reach the sockets in your home. But how did we manage to harness nature’s electricity? How do we generate electricity locally? And how can we do so sustainably? Did you know that you can use your brain’s electrical messages to control other people? Join us in this fantastic science show to spark your imagination and make electrifying discoveries!

Weatherology: Discover the natural wonders of Earth’s climate in Weatherology. Experience the largest indoor cloud you’ve ever seen and explore questions such as ‘why does it rain?’ and ‘how do different types of tornadoes form?’

This Science Show is offered in May and June.
Superhero in You: Join us on a journey of discovery to find out all about different superpowers. Help us identify strong shapes, get up and close to things which are far away or very tiny. Learn about how animals are very good at being invisible and try out the ultimate superpower of moving objects with your brain. Superhero Science is a fun, playful science show using scientific concepts that will dazzle and amaze our young audiences.
Ideal for Ages: 3-6 years

Exhibitions
Art in Waste Exhibition: Two artists create art from waste by collecting waste from around the country, cleaning up beaches and fields and turn the objects into art. Recently they have been making an artwork that will feature in a children’s book which is a story based around the damage waste is doing to the oceans and how important it is to keep not only the ocean and beach clean, but not to pollute our environment as a whole. All the pictures are created by art works, using collected waste. These artworks as well as other art exhibits will be displayed at Esplora Interactive Science Centre.
This exhibition is offered from the 23rd June till 2nd August.
Ideal for All Ages
Malta Wildlife Exhibition: In the coming weeks, at Esplora we will be displaying a collection of native species through the lens of local entomology enthusiast, Thomas Cassar. Through these posters, one can appreciate the beauty of our local flora and fauna, but also learn more about indigenous species found here in Malta.
