KurżitàJiem
Curiosity is what helped us advance as a society and that is why research has always played an important role in our lives. Ever since the beginning of days, humans got curious, asked questions and immersed themselves into discovering new ways of living. KurżitàJiem is a special week at Esplora as we get to celebrate local research and researchers. Visitors will be able to meet various researchers, NGOs and academic institutions working in different fields of science and explore how science can help us improve our everyday life while participating in various hands-on activities.
During this week everyone will be able to discover different projects and interact with professionals to learn more on how research helps us understand better the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects and how this is applied in multiple careers! Children visiting the science centre during KurżitàJiem will get the opportunity to meet with professionals in various STEM fields helping them to learn more about careers in STEM and also encourages them to question and explore the world around them.
KurżitàJiem will be held at Esplora Interactive Science Centre between Tuesday 19th April and Sunday 24th April 2022. During these days, the science centre will be open from 10am till 6pm, apart from Sunday 24th April when it will be open at 9am for Sensory Friendly Hours.
