Esplora, in collaboration with the Ride the Feeling author Aunty Sab and the MyMama team, are organising a Ride the Feeling Storytelling Workshop which will see kids aged 5 to 8 years enjoy a storytelling session, whilst at the same time, their parents / caregivers will be able to attend to a talk about how to speak about feelings with children.
These workshops will be held at Esplora Interactive Science Centre on Sunday 5th September 2021, where there will be two sessions – one at 12.45 and the other one at 13.45.
During the storytelling workshop, children will join author Aunty Sab for the very first in-person reading session of the latest new superheroes book ‘Ride the Feeling.’ During the 45 minute session, the children will be encouraged to explore Bow’s feelings, talk about their own and inspire each other to share what triggers different emotions. This workshop also includes a Ride the Feeling activity for participants.
Alongside the storytelling session, Christina Gauci (Speech & Language Pathologist) and Chantelle Sciberras (Counsellor & Parenting Expert) from the MyMama team, will be delivering a 45 minute session for the participants’ parents / guardians regarding how to talk about feelings with children.
Workshop participation is free of charge with the Esplora entrance ticket. To participate in this workshop, kindly reserve your place by calling 2360 2299 by not later than Wednesday 1st September 2021.
