Saving Our Blue

Join us at Esplora on the 29th and 30th July from 10am till 1pm as we welcome the team behind the project Saving Our Blue. This event is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to engage in the important work being done by Saving Our Blue, a conservation initiative in Malta that aims to protect and preserve the marine environment and coastal ecosystems.

Led by a dedicated team of environmentalists, scientists, and local volunteers, Saving Our Blue’s mission is to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable practices and advocate for the preservation of Malta’s marine biodiversity. By conducting research, promoting sustainable practices, and advocating for policies that safeguard the marine environment, Saving Our Blue aims to ensure the long-term sustainability and resilience of Malta’s marine ecosystem.

During the event, the Saving Our Blue team will be delivering a drop-in session at Esplora, where visitors will be able to meet with them. The highlights of the session include virtual reality experiences and interactive games focused on saving our Maltese marine environment. By immersing themselves in these activities, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the threats facing our oceans and the steps we can take to protect them.

Saving our Blue is a project run by the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Enterprise, highlighting the government’s commitment to preserving Malta’s marine biodiversity. By attending this event, visitors will not only have the chance to learn and engage in the project’s activities, but also contribute to the overall conservation efforts in Malta.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to be a part of the movement to protect and preserve our marine environment. Mark your calendars for the 29th and 30th of July and join us at Esplora Interactive Science Centre. The Saving Our Blue team will be available to meet up with you from 10am to 1pm.

Together, we can create a healthier and thriving blue environment for future generations.
