Esplora’s egg drop challenge will inspire children and adults alike to explore various materials that will help them protect an egg when dropped from a high place. Just follow these steps:

Create your Eggstronaut by decorating a raw egg and make it look like an astronaut.

Choose the materials that you want to use for the spacecraft. Design it carefully so that it protects the egg from cracking. We suggest that you carry out some research on egg drop challenges for inspiration! Hint! You may need some of these items: bin bags or plastic bags, newspapers, leaflets or magazines, string, tape, scissors, packing material such as bubble wrap, rubber bands, recycled materials such as yoghurt cups, milk carton, cardboard and bottles.
