Free Transport Scheme to Esplora Interactive Science Centre re-offered to all State Schools

Following the announcement of the new COVID-19 guidelines for schools by the Superintendent for Public Health, Esplora would like to kindly remind educators that ‘Free Transport’ to and from Esplora shall once again be offered to all State Schools throughout the upcoming scholastic year. The Science Centre provides an educational and essential visit which adds value to science learning. This initiative continues being supported by the Ministry for Education (MFED).

Dr Frank Fabri, Permanent Secretary within the MFED, recently visited Esplora where, together with the Executive Chairman of the Malta Council for Science and Technology, Dr Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, discussed preparations currently underway for the Science Centre to restart welcoming students as of October 2021.

The Interactive Science Centre is spread over an area of 22,000 metres squared and offers various curriculum-based activities for all students. The official Esplora School Education Programme (2021-2022) will be launched in the coming weeks. All relevant COVID-19 Health and Safety measures will be adhered to.

For more information and to benefit from this scheme, contact Esplora Interactive Science Centre on esplora.bookings@gov.mt
