Cook with Ġina Part I

Esplora is super excited to present the second season of Ġina u l-Esploraturi, a programme for children which will be aired on TVM every Wednesday at 3.10 pm, starting from the 6th April 2022. The first episode of the new season will see our new Esploratur – Katrina discussing Science in the Kitchen with Ġina.

How about trying a recipe with them? Check out the ingredients that you need to prepare below:

Ġina’s Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 60g margerine
• 60g sugar
• Egg
• Vanilla essence
• 1 tbsp milk
• Half teaspoon baking powder
• 50g plain flour
• Paper cupcake holders

Method

1. Switch on the oven with a temperature of 180°C.
2. Mix the margerine with the sugar until well blended.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Add it slowly with the margerine and sugar mixture and mix well.
4. Add the baking powder and flower to the mixture and fold slowly until everything is combined.
5. Pour the mixture into 2 cupcake holders and bake for 10 minutes.
