Safeguarding our future – Investing in a Green Economy

We were introduced to a documentary by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Our Planet: Too Big to Fail. The documentary explores the risks of inaction, the impact of investing-as-usual, and the role the finance sector can play in powering a sustainable future.

For the Science Cafe, Safeguarding our future – Investing in a Green economy, we held a discussion about Green Economy together with experts in the fields of Research, Energy, Investment and Enterprise. The Science Café highlights ways in which Malta is tackling this, related future plans and best practices in the field.

The mission towards a net zero economy and the reduction in environmental degradation is an investment in our own future; a future with less unpredictable weather events and less pandemics. How does this influence the future of our economy, investments and capital? And, how can we plan for these eventualities?
