Halloween Night – October 31st
Join us on the evening of the 31st of October at ESPLORA, where the enigmatic thrills begin at 18:00 and continue until 22:00. Prepare yourself to be transported to a realm where science meets the bizarre, as the entire science centre is transformed into a whimsical circus under the moon’s bewitching glow. Here’s a sneak peak of the marvels that will await you during this evening:
Science on Fire – Our very own circus master takes centre stage with an explosive science show, featuring flames, sparks and jaw-dropping experiments and demonstrations. Immerse yourself in a world of coloured flames, dancing sparks and mind-bending explosions.
Spelltacular – Step back to 1620, to a time and place where magic and science collide. In this mesmerising science show, time-travelling alchemists unveil the secrets behind ‘magical’ experiments, revealing the science that makes it all possible. Uncover the mysteries behind every card and every trick and learn the real science that makes it all possible!
Gross Dissections – Witness the wonders of organ dissections during this captivating workshop. Dive deep into the science of our bodily systems and explore the mysteries hidden within our organs. Will you dare to touch?
Corridor of Curiosities – The bizarre meets the scientific in a corridor of peculiar games. Navigate from one curious game to the next and immerse yourself in guaranteed fun.
The Reptile Dungeon – Dare to enter the Reptile Dungeon, a realm where serpents, bearded dragons and intriguing insects reign supreme. Meet herpetologists and entomologists who will help you appreciate the captivating world of these often-misunderstood creatures. Perhaps you’ll even touch or hold one yourself!
Planetarium Films – Hop aboard a fascinating Planetarium film journey or embark on a live planetary adventure at the EsploraPlanetarium. Gaze in awe at the beauty of the night sky, planets and everything that surrounds us.
Science on the Spot – Throughout the science centre we will also have several fascinating hands-on activities, circus games and other spontaneous science wonders. And a thrilling onsite competition also awaits our visitors!
And do not forget to look out for our persons in character, who will be dressed to impress… handing out treats to children!

Themed days: 1st – 5th November
And here’s a special treat for you! The day after our 31st October event, we’re keeping the magic alive! We’ll be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm, and you can enjoy the same enchanting theme, though with a more relaxed vibe. While we will not have the same full-blown activities like we do on the 31st event, you can still witness jaw-dropping science shows, explore the Corridor of Curiosities and the centre will still be fully decorated! It’s a perfect opportunity to explore Cirque Bizarre at your own pace, take in the atmosphere, and enjoy the Halloween spirit in a more tranquil setting.
