Once Upon A Story: Reading session for Children

A Child Who Reads will be an Adult who Thinks

We all know how important a love of reading is; and it is equally crucial to nurture this love from a young age. Reading sessions are educational, fun and interesting; and they help spark a child’s imagination and stimulate curiosity. Engaging children in reading activities help increase their enjoyment of books.

Esplora in collaboration with Villa Bighi is organising the very first reading session for children. Once Upon a Story will be held on Saturday, 23rd April at 11am. Surrounded by the relaxing and beautiful atmosphere of the Villa Bighi gardens, which overlooks the lovely scenery of the Grand Harbour, children will be able to listen to a nature-themed narration. Afterwards they will enjoy a stroll around the Esplora gardens, where they will be able to learn more about the different types of flora that can be found there. The rest of the day will be free to explore the science centre and take part in the activities that will be held at Esplora during the day.

The session is ideal for children between 6 and 9 years of age.
