Thursday 4th December saw Villa Bighi’s beautiful old chapel abuzz with activity. The Esplora project was officially launched to the public through a press conference with contributions by Malta’s Education Minister Evarist Bartolo, Parliamentary Secretary Chris Aguis, along with the project aims and details outlined by MCST chairman Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, SPU Director Karl Azzopardi and Project Leader Nigel Pace Asciak.
The financing was explained, the tendering methods used defined, the architectural design exposed, the overall content plan of each of the areas shown and the Esplora brand revealed. A short on site walk for those interested was the highlight of the morning. The audience made up of Press and stakeholders seemed very enthusiastic.
We really enjoyed seeing so much press about Esplora! This positive feedback is what drives the team here in the office to continue striving to create a place for the benefit of Malta’s communities. And so the new week has started and the team is busy with project management, event planning, and more design development of our unique interactive exhibitions!
